Is palm oil in all products ?
Palm oil solidifies at room temperature and cannot therefore be used as a table oil in Europe. This is why it is used as an ingredient in other foods, and it has qualities that lead to its use in many processed food recipes. But it is not present in significant quantities in our daily diet. The upper range of this consumption is approximately 5g per day per person, based on the most common calculations. Which represents 6% of an individual’s total daily fat intake.
